Dear Colleagues,

IEEE Greece Section celebrates this year its 40th anniversary!
It is a large Section of approximately 2000 members of all grades (student to fellow) organised in 15 IEEE Chapters and 10 Student Branches.
The aim of the Section Officers is to offer to all members the best they can have (technical events, meetings, awards/recognitions, etc) for professional development. For the years 2010 and 2011 our efforts are directed towards the following initiatives:
We are asking for your active participation and contribution. Ideas / proposals / volunteer work, either through your Chapter or directly through the IEEE Greece Section are more than welcome. It is the only way to reach our Section's goal, which is "to serve our members and the society".

- i-MSL (Meet a Successful Leader initiative) targets to offer the opportunity to young members to meet and discuss extensively with well known professionals, thus paving their way to success.
- i-YSC (Young Scientist's Corner initiative) which will become a permanent floor for young scientists (pursuing or having completed their PhD) to present their work to a wide audience of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- i-CAD (Career Advisory Desk initiative) is an Internet-based Desk for assisting and consulting young members on what to do next.
- i-HiH (Hand in Hand initiative) is our social contribution for all those who are in need.
We are asking for your active participation and contribution. Ideas / proposals / volunteer work, either through your Chapter or directly through the IEEE Greece Section are more than welcome. It is the only way to reach our Section's goal, which is "to serve our members and the society".
